Rolemaster in GM George Huber's immensely detailed world of Aelfin is sadly no longer weekly, as George has finally broken his slave bonds to BU and moved down to New Jersey. But he'll visit, and when he does we'll continue on our desperate way to helping defeat the dark god Morgoth. My character is called Nameless, and what makes you think she even has a name, anyway?
Mars II, run by Joe Boerjes, was set in two mirror universes, one with magic and one with science. My character who walks on the somewhat shadier lane of life, Marah, was from the magical side and was quite shocked to find herself on the scientific side in the company of a bunch of cops trying to save both worlds from invasion by aliens and the megomaniacal Adrian Platt. Marah means bitter in Hebrew, and don't think she didn't know that when she chose it.
Janus Gate, the sequel to Mars II, also run by Joe. The world is saved from Platt, and the aliens turned out to be pretty nice, afterall. But the threat of the Prince [who is actually the C-word... c-a-i-n-e, that is] and his Aberrant [vampires via a nano-infection] followers remains. Unbeknownest to the mundanes of the world, they are being protected by the Psi Orders. My character, Mifune Tomoe, is a modern-day samurai and psychokinetic member of the Upeo [read: teleporters].
Hana-no-kalinda, set in the ever-shifting halls of Tokyo's high school for The Chosen, is run by Silvain. Currently, my character Nakamoto Kirin is still rounding up the pages to the Legendary book, while trying to gather the Truly Chosen of the school to defend the school against the coming storm, which will probably consist of some kind of alien invasion. Also, she still hasn't figured out who's been sending her all these good-luck charms.
Hana-no-kalinda, finis. We protected the good aliens and repelled the bad aliens and triumphed over the sinister Mask Clan via an uneasy truce with the Sakura Clan. Kirin finds all 26 pages of her book and eventually becomes Master Librarian of the Empire. The Empire being the meta-place that the school was a testing and training module for, that is. Silvain barely managed to finish up before heading to Japan for a year of study. Dunno how he's going to follow up on this once he returns.
Fivtoria, run by dkk, er, Dave Krikorian. I used to play Sophia, a small human former special ops assassin in a fantasy world, second in command of a band of government-sponsered mercenaries headed by her good friend Lila. Unfortunately, a run of very bad luck got her killed. Now I play Kelar Naranthiel, a 30,000 year old elf, accidentally freed from a virtual sanctuary by Lila's group, only to find that... well... elves have gotten alot shorter, his clan was probably eradicated, and humans have still barely managed to achieve something akin to a state which could be called civilization. Unusually for a light elf, Kelar actually had the discipline to become an old magic user and samurai [read: finesse swordfighter].
Jeff's Greyhawk campaign, in which I play a half-elf rogue/ranger/cleric of Ehlonna named Xanalathe Su, is currently involving lots of wars and doubles and prophecies and such, and I happily predict that it will continue along in this fashion for quite a while..
In Shabby's campaign about the Knights of the Dispatch, I play a rogue/bard halfling by the name of Serafina Thorngage. We don't really know what's up yet, but seem to be set to do lots of travelling.
