_Wit_ was fabulous. Paula Plum was amazing in the lead role, and the supporting cast was in general really great. The only thing I didn't like about the performance was the bloody annoying music. It was too loud, and too cheesy. But the rest of the direction seemed quite good, though I don't know a whole lot about the techniques involved.
i am reading the Nerve.com personals (sort of simultaneously with writing this entry), because they amuse me. it's all Jade's fault that i have any idea that they exist. and they actually don't suck. they actually don't suck to the point of maybe i'll eventually post the profile i've been working on. it might be fun. it might be terrible. but certainly strange, and certainly interesting. almost definitely not boring.
i kinda want to break into song. i've been feeling sort of like that all day. i think i freaked some people out on the T today, crooning to myself on the Green Line 'cause i was carrying a bunch of stuff home from the office and so i didn't have the spare energy to pull out my book. and so instead i sang through some songs. it was fun. but i definitely got some strange looks, even though i wasn't singing full-out or anything. but it was probably audible... and my lips were moving, so.
why am i still awake? i ask you...
somehow, i just can't stop reading... but then, i've always had this problem. nowadays it's occasionally a computer screen instead of a book, but it's still basically the same problem.
